The construction of potable water project is underway in Shire’endasilassie town at a cost of more than 40 million Birr, town water service office said. Office manager, Zenebe Hadush told ENA that the project includes the construction of two sink wells, installation of pipe line and reservoir.

The Ethiopian Aviation Academy graduated Tuesday 20 pilots and 72 flight attendants. Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Ethiopian Airlines Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Tewolde Gebre-Mariam said the Academy is undertaking massive facility expansion projects which will enable it to be the most competitive and leading aviation training centre in Africa.

Ethiopians living in Berlin, Germany bought 1.8 million Birr worht bond for the construction of the Grand Renaissance Dam, the ministry of foreign affairs said. At an event organized for public gathering and bond sale program in the premises of Ethiopian embassy in Berlin many Ethiopians have pledged to buy bonds.

Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn arrived in Khartoum on Wednesday to bolster peace efforts between Sudan and South Sudan, official media said.
"The Ethiopian prime minister's visit comes in the context of the Ethiopian endeavours to push ahead the peace process between Sudan and South Sudan," Khartoum's presidential press secretary Emad Sayed Ahmed told the SUNA news agency.
